Privacy: Applicants are advised that their membership records will be held in electronic form. These records will be kept confidential and solely for the purpose of administration of The Chipstead Players. The membership records will not be disclosed to any person outside the membership of The Chipstead Players and then only to persons who need the information in order to carry out their duties in connection with the administration of the Society. The names (but no other details) of cast members and their photos may be placed on The Chipstead Players’ website for publicity purposes. Your formal agreement to this will be requested if you are cast in a play.
Safeguarding: We have a Child Protection Policy which is designed to protect all young or vulnerable people joining in with The Chipstead Players’ activities. There is a list of good practice guidelines, displayed on the Youth Theatre notice board. All adults should make sure that they are familiar with these guidelines. In order to comply with Child Protection Regulations, it is the policy of The Chipstead Players to ask any adult member likely to be working with, or in close proximity to, youth members to complete a DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service) enquiry form. Your application to join Chipstead Players is taken to indicate your willingness to complete this form, should you be required to do so.
