Auditions

Audition dates are published here as soon as they are confirmed, usually 4-6 months before the production is staged.

We warmly welcome members and non-members to audition for acting parts or to apply to work backstage. If you’re not already a member, you’ll need to join The Chipstead Players if you take part in a production on stage or behind the scenes.

If you’re considering auditioning, look below to find the play that interests you and click on the link to find additional information about the piece; such as the cast of characters, the playing ages and the proposed rehearsal dates. You can register your interest in performing via the contact information given on the audition notice.

Please note:

If you are cast in a play, or if you join a production team, you are required to join The Chipstead Players. Currently the adult membership is £30 annually or £10 for full-time students and schoolchildren. As a member of any cast, you will also be asked to pay a production fee, which is currently £35.
